Fall is quickly fading and winter is coming fast, and we in the hair industry are always looking for a reason to celebrate a new haircut or style! Whether you are due for a trim or are wanting to completely revamp your hair style, there's no better time to try something new than the holiday season! Here are a few of my 2017 Madison Indiana haircut recommendations. ANGLED LOB Are you growing out a blunt bob or a lob cut? Then this sophisticated angled lob is perfect for you! Elegant in it's simplicity, it's the best transitional cut if your goal is to grow your hair long, and is perfectly suited for those with fine to medium straight strands. LONG SHAG First, let's just get one thing straight: you gotta have a LOT of hair to rock this cut! Especially if you have the kind of hair thickness where your stylist needs to regularly thin your hair. Request side swept bangs and tons of long layers. PIXIE HAIRCUT Contrary to popular opinion, most women can pull off a pixie - it just takes the confidence to make the cut! If you're ready for the chop, have your hair stylist razor-cut the length as short as possible. Instead of scissors, the use of a razor helps add softness to the cut. RETRO BOB Flashback from the '90s: this bob is styled straight with a slight flip at the ends and is best on fine to medium thick hair. For an additional hint of retro, go with a deep side part. Use a moisturizing hairspray to mimic that "just out of the shower" look. Which is your favorite?
