OMBRE – This is a coloring technique that has vastly increased in popularity in recent years as many famous celebrities are sporting this trend. Coming from the French term meaning “shaded” or “shading”, ombre describes the gradual change from one hair color to another - usually darker at the roots and lighter at the ends with the color changing mid hair shaft. Requiring very little maintenance, this makes it extremely easy to remain on trend!
BALAYAGE – Many people don’t know the difference between an ombre and a balayage hair coloring. You can consider the balayage as the "less loud and subtler sister" to the ombre.
